About Me

I have a calm, non-judgemental attitude and I am ready to listen and help with whatever may be troubling you. I will provide a setting in which you can feel supported and free to talk about your difficulties and whatever is on your mind.

The psychodynamic approach focuses on immediate problems, but I will help you make links and explore past events to enable you to unravel unhelpful patterns of behaviour.

There are all sorts of reasons why you (or someone you are concerned about) may decide to have therapy. Sometimes the problem can be very clear, but other times there can be a confusion about what it is exactly.
I will go at your pace, helping you to feel heard and understood.

My background is in both the private sector and in education. I have always had a keen interest in emotional wellbeing and my experience is with a range of issues, I enjoy helping my clients to achieve symptom relief and personal growth.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

I am member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and a registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
