Vicki McCarthy

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Welcome

My name is Vicki and I am a registered psychotherapist with the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) - an organisation that ensures the highest standards of client care. I provide therapy for a range of issues; perhaps you are looking for help with a specific difficulty or maybe it's difficult to pin point exactly what is troubling you? Psychotherapy gives you the opportunity to talk things through - I can help you to process your thoughts and feelings with the aim of promoting change.

My approach is non-judgemental, safe and confidential; a space to talk through what's on your mind. It can be difficult to take the first step into therapy, but the benefits can be life changing. Sometimes it can feel a huge relief to share what's on your mind, at other times it may feel a little challenging; but you can be assured that I will be sensitive to your needs and go at a pace that suits you.

You can find out a bit more about me here, but if you can't find the answer to your question on my website, please feel free to contact me to find out more about the way that I can help you.

Online Therapy

You may be looking for the convenience of online therapy, I have been practicing throughout the pandemic via Zoom and telephone. This has been highly successful and offers the convenience of working from a location convenient to you.

All you need is a safe, private space and we will be able to work remotely. There is the added convenience of being able to continue therapy whilst you are away from home, particularly useful to those who travel regularly.
